Our friend Caroline ofPaper Cat Englishrecently shared this origami craft to go with the Who Took The Cookie?

Try making these paper cookies with your students or kids.

First, gather all of your supplies.

Youll need square paper, scissors, glue, and embellishments.

You could also use crayons or markers to decorate the cookies.

Fold the paper in half to make a triangle.

Fold it in half again to make a smaller triangle.

How many triangles are there?

Lets count…1,2,3,4.

Supplies for making origami cookies. Square paper, glue, embellishments, and scissors (optional).

Now fold all four corners to the middle.

If you want a donut-like cookie, fold the paper in half and cut out a semicircle.

Be sure to supervise kids when they are cutting.

Fold your square paper to make a triangle.

If you want a round cookie, skip this step.

Its almost finished, fold the four corners in a little.

Turn it over and use sequins, markers, stickers, or crayons to decorate your cookies.

Fold paper again to make a smaller triangle.

What flavor is it?

This one is orange and cinnamon…yummy!

Make lots of cookies and put them on plates.

Open the paper. Count how many triangles.

Have a picnic with your friends, and play a game of Who Took The Cookie?

Fold the corner to the center of the paper.

Repeat for all four corners.

For a donut, fold the paper in half and cut out a semi-circle.

Turn paper over and fold in a bit of each corner.

Turn the paper back over and decorate your cookie!

Put the cookies onto plates.

Invite your friends to a picnic.
