Take to tops off of the acorns (you will not need the tops for this craft).
Drill a hole through the centers of the acorns from top to the bottom.
Paint the acorns red, pink and white.
Place them on a sheet of wax paper to prevent them from sticking while they dry.
Paint the surface of the birch slice white and let the paint dry.
Afterwards, paint an XO on the back side of the wood slice and let it dry.
Alternate the colors of the acorns to get the same look as our garland.

Lastly, make a tassel with bakers twine by wrapping it around your fingers 25-30 times.
Cut one end of the wapped twine and then tie another piece of twin around the top.
