Have you made a pinecone Christmas tree yet?
All you need are a few crafting supplies to get crafty this Christmas.
We love this craft because its super simple and super adorable, too!
Now, lets get started!
Next, use a small paintbrush to paint your pinecone in green or white.
Be sure to cover all of the surfaces and set it aside to dry.
Feel free to add a second coat of paint if needed.
Now for the fun part!
Okay, well all the steps are fun but this one is extra fun.
Pour some white craft paint onto a small paper plate.
Roll your painted pinecone in white paint to coat the tips of the pinecone.
Twist two or three pipe cleaners together to make a long piece of garland.
Wedge the tip of the pipe cleaner in the bottom of the pinecone and continue twisting it up.
Dip mini pom poms in some white glue and add them to your miniature tree.
Decorate your tree however you like for some extra flair!
you’re free to make your tree stand up on its own by making a tree base.
We unravelled some cotton balls to make ours.
Adult step: attach your pinecone Christmas tree to the base using a hot glue gun.
To make your tree into a Christmas tree ornament, tie a loop of ribbon in a knot.
Use hot glue to attach it to the top of the tree.
We added a star detail to ours.
Now, share your Christmas tree ornament for all to see!
