What can make school a little bit more fun?
Pencil Puppets, of course!
Put on a puppet show!
Cut close to the weaved fabric to keep the fun fur fibres nice and long.
Add hot glue to one end of the underside mesh of the fabric and secure it to the pencil.
Next, add glue along the bottom underside.
Twist and stagger the fabric so the glue has contact with the pencil.
Tip* you could also use white glue.
We recommend using a generous amount of glue and securing it with a clothespin while the glue dries.
Ribbon makes a sweet bowtie or scarf.
Experiment with different types of googly eyes to get some neat looks.
We made lots of Pencil Puppets for inspiration!
We loved the way the pom pom bodies turned out, too!
We used small pieces of construction paper for mouths and small pom poms for a different look.
Now the puppets are ready to put on a show!
