Fold each rectangle in half, and in half again.

Each flower requires two layers of petals of different sizes.

Make some larger ones and smaller ones and have fun layering the colors and shapes.

For the flower centers, trace a bottle cap and cut it out with decorative scissors.

After all, no flower in nature is exactly the same.

Use a pencil to make a hole through the center of each of the petal shapes.

Feed a green pipe cleaner through the flower holes to connect them and make a flower stem.

Curl and bend the tip of the pipe cleaner to provide a flat surface for the flower centre.

Add some glue to stick it in place.

TIP: Layer some green paper together to cut out more than one leaf at a time!

The earth laughs in flowers.
