Dividing the board with washi tape

Wouldnt a name be fun in a nautical themed bedroom?

Or maybe theres another word that youd like to use.

Are you ready to learn how to make it?

Making a black square of duck tape on a craft mat

Our total length across was 34 1/2.

We decided to do four 7 squares for a total of 28 of taped area.

Between each flag we allowed for a 1.5 width, and on each end we placed a 1 border.

Two white strips of duct tape on a craft mat

Then youre going to begin cutting your Duck Tape nautical alphabet flags.

You may also run into this same challenge.

And if you do, I suggest you solve it the same way we did.

Transferring the white and black tape to the white background

With a black square in the background that is 1/8 larger than your flag all the way around.

So our first order of business was to make a black Duck Tape square approximately 7 1/4.

For the H, we made a band of white tape that was 3.5 wide and 7 tall.

Taping off another square on the white board

We peeled it up and placed that on the black Duck Tape very carefully.

Then we peeled up the black square and placed in on the back board as shown above.

We cut a 3.5 width of red tape and placed it right next to the white.

Adding another nautical symbol in tape to the board

We used washi tape to help us section off our letters.

We continued making our nautical alphabet flags with Duck Tape on the craft mat.

Then we repeated with the red.
