Painting pumpkins and gourds is one of our favorite Halloween activities with little ones.
Why not liven up the Halloween decorations with monsters?

Once theyre dry, give them two coats of craft paint.
Add a monster mouth and some monster eyes!
Cut pipe cleaners to the desired length.
To make holes in your gourds for the pipe cleaners, start with a push pin.
Next, expand the hole with a toothpick.
Pierce the pipe cleaners into these holes as arms or tentacles.
you might also glue the legs to the bottom of the gourd if they are evenly spaced.
Have fun adding accessories like extra eyes, antennae and anything else monster-rific!
You could even add feathers or glitter or anything that screams monster!
