Im thankful for the time we have with the leaves turning colors though.
Not only is it beautiful, but it provides so many crafty projects to create.
I know Im not the only one who loves this time of year.
I just want to bottle it up and put it in a jar.
Fortunately, we can with this craft!
Every morning when I go for a walk, I choose some of my favorite leaves to to preserve.
I lay them face down between layers of paper towel with heavy weights on top to dry fully.
That way, I can use them for weeks, or even months, to come.
I made sure to use only the ones that have completely dried for this fall luminary craft.

double-check the glass jars are clean and dry and free of any oily spots.
Its often best to wipe the jars with rubbing alcohol before hand.
Start by brushing on a layer of Mod Podge directly on to one side of the glass jar.
Working quickly and before the Mod Podge dries, place on pressed leaf on top of the glued area.
Press the leaf into the glue.
Next, brush on another layer of Mod Podge over top of the leaf and edges.
