We used Decoarts Extreme Sheen which gave the pieces a really nice hard, semi-shiny finish.

In a weird way they actually remind me of candy!

Painted Clay Candy Pots

You may need 1-2 layers to get full coverage.

Paint the front and sides of the tallest block (10) with Ruby.

Let dry then paint a second coat as needed.

Apply theOld French Script stencilto the Sterling Silver painted wood block using Pink Tourmaline.

Apply theHearts stencilto the Ruby painted wood block using Sterling Silver.

Glue the letters onto the wood blocks to spell LOVE.

Add a small white ribbon above the O.

I LOVE how this inexpensive Valentines decor turned out!

But the Extreme Sheen paint gives the pieces a really nice lustre almost a candy coating!

The new decorations inspired my to even light some candles!
