Have you ever wondered how to paint a buffalo plaid pattern?
I used a similar technique to paint mini terra cotta pots for myFall three tiered tray.

Let the paint dry.
Brush on the paint again between the verticals strips of tape and let dry.
Add back the tape over the same rows that you did originally (ie.
the white rows).
Paint the exposed areas with black paint.
Remove the painters tape to reveal the buffalo check pattern.
Beautifully buffalo plaid canvas, all ready for decorating.
I used the buffalo plaid pattern to make a pretty fall sign with a cutout using my Cricut Joy.
Using the Circut Joy, cut out your own personalized Fall message or choose one from Design Spaces library.
Weed away the excess vinyl and using transfer tape, transfer the lettering on to the painted plaid pattern.
Place with your other Fall decor and enjoy!
