Today were upcycling some corrugated cardboard to make a lovelyheart sign for Valentines Day.

Who knew cardboard could look so pretty?!

So with all this saved cardboard lying around, why not create cardboard crafts too?

Materials Needed

First, paint your wood plaque white and repeat if needed for more coverage.

Carboard heart sign with glitter, a feather and bow.

Let the paint dry fully.

While drying, start cutting out your heart template using just some scrap paper.

Then use that template to cut out the cardboard heart.

Once cut, paint the currogated cardboard heart in gold metallic paint.

Remove the excess and let the glue dry fully.

Now its time to decorate it!

Glue your cardboard heart to the center adding the love lettering on top.

Add any other decor you might have such as a faux florals, bows, etc.

I used a pink gingham bow and a gold feather to my pretty Valentines Day sign.
