Then your going to LOVE this large DIY Pegboard.
No fancy craft rooms needed just simple wall space!
You might be thinking, arent pegboards used to organize tools?
Yup, their humble beginnings started out in the garage as tool organizers.
The reason pegboards work so well to organize is because everything is nicely displayed and easy to grab.
No need to sift through dark drawers or storage containers everything is in plain view!
And when you know what you have your more likely to use it too.
The other great thing about Pegboard organizers is they are big on space savings!
This is so the pegboard accessories have enough room to slide into the hold.
If the Pegboard is flush against the wall, then nothing can be hooked into the holes.
Can you use any frame with this DIY Pegboard?
As long as the frame is deep enough for the accessories to go through the holes once it hung.
Coincidentally the Family of Frames by Ikea The Ribba frames work perfectly.
They are deep enough so that the pegboard has enough distance between the wall when hung.
To save money I scoured the Dollar store Home section for items I could use to organize with.
They were perfect for my collection of buttons, ribbons and stickers!
The over the door hook part, worked perfectly with the pegboard hooks!
We found galvanized tin buckets with handles that hung perfectly in place.

These work super well for markers, brush pens.
especially if they come in a wide variety of colors.
Having them displayed horizontally, makes it easier to pick out the color!

Take some glue and put it in the inside of the frame where the pegboard will touch.
Maybe Ill go back and fix it one day.
terminate the metal tabs around the pegboard to secure it in place.
Let the glue dry.
Wait for the glue to dry.
Your pegboard is ready!
Use your pegboard hooks and Dollarstore accessories to start hanging and organizing all your craft supplies!
