A set of pretty storage containers seemed like the right motivation to get items in order.

These painted mason jars turned out so great that Sonja ended up taking them forher new bathroom!

Now I get to make another set for me, and maybe a third for thebeach-themed bathroomat the cottage.

With a soft paint brush paint one coat ofchalky finish paintin three different colors on each jar respectively.

In the meantime, glue theglass cabinet knobonto the top of the mason jar lid.

If needed glue the disc to the rim of the lid ring.

Lightly sand the painted mason jars to distress of them at any raised points or edges.

Add a 10mm jump ring to oneocean-themed charm.

Wrap a piece of twine around the neck of the painted mason jar three times and tie a knot.

Add a charm and then tie a bow.

Place the lid on the jar and youre done!
