Set up the watercolor paints and a cup of water.

Paint over the crayon drawing and watch the magic of wax resist.

While your paintings are drying, fold a piece of construction paper in half.

Cut half a heart shape from the folded edge.

Cut out a smaller half-heart from the inside of your original half-heart shape.

Unfold to reveal a heart shaped frame!

Cut out a few hearts.

Fit and pair them with your watercolor paintings.

Use your glue stick to glue down the frames onto the paintings.

Trim any edges that poke out.
