Christmas is almost here, yay!
A homemade Christmas card will surely warm hearts this holiday season.
Our Christmas tree pop up card is super fun and easy to make.
So get those craft supplies ready.
Its time to get crafty, Christmas style!
Things youll need
you’ve got the option to start by making your Christmas tree.
Fold a piece of construction paper in thirds.
(This will make two trees for two cards.)
Draw and cut out a triangle shape.
Fold a 12 lip down both long edges of the triangle.
These edges will be used as glue tabs to stick your tree to your Christmas card.
Trim the top and bottom corners as well.
Next, refold the tree using the existing lines to make your tree shape pop out in 3D.
confirm the glue tabs you made are folded underneath so they will be invisible.
Finally, draw and cut a curve at the bottom of your tree.
Now your tree is ready to be decorated!
Its no secret, we love using forks and other household items as stamps.
Once your tree is covered in pine needles, leave it to dry.
Leave this step to dry as well.
Now its time for lights!
(Wipe the eraser clean between colors so the lights stay vibrant.)
Stamp both ends of a pencil in some white paint and stamp falling snow onto your sky-colored paper.
Paint a blanket of snow at the bottom of your card and set it aside to dry.
When it comes time to assemble your card, start by folding the snowy backdrop in half.
Add another sheet of colorful paper to the outside of your card for some extra reinforcement.
Glue these pieces together.
Line up the folded line of your card to the centre of your tree.
Glue the bottom folded tabs down.
Add a star sticker to the top of your tree.
Merry Christmas, Super Simple fam!
