Hearing the singing carollers is one of our favorite parts of the peaceful season.
Why not make some cute carollers in class so little ones can gift them to their families?
Do re mi fa sol la ti do!
Set it aside to dry for now.
Next, trace a bottle cap onto a rosy cheeks shade of construction paper and cut out two cheeks!
Draw an oval shape on black construction paper to make the singing mouth.
Draw a scalloped or wavy edge to make the elfs fringe.
Cut out this piece and set it aside.
NOTE: The hairpiece should cover about one third of the paper plate.
Fa la la la la, la la la la!
Next, make the hat.
Add a piece of trim and even a pom pom on top!
Glue it together and add it to the carollers head.
To make the book, fold a piece of paper in half.
Fit the book to the bottom of the plate for size.
Angle cut the book on top and bottom.
Glue a second piece of paper to add some contrast.
Draw some music notes with a marker.
Glue all of the corners together.
Layer two pieces of paper together, draw a mitten shape, and cut both layers out.
Add an accent color for the cuffs.
Glue the mittens to the bottom corners of the book.
Now your carroller is ready to sing sing sing!
