Make some noise, its a new year!
Kids will enjoy decorating their shakers and personalising them for party time.

Steps
First, paint the underside of your paper plates.
Set them aside to dry.
Now its time to decorate!
Use the ends of a pencil to make a polka dot pattern on your shaker.
Make some tissue paper tassels to make your shaker move and come to life!
Start by layering some pieces of tissue paper.
To get a frayed edge, make small cuts along the side of your sections.
verify not to cut all the way through.
Roll these sheets of tissue paper together to create a bundle.
Tape it at the end to hold it in place.
Use a glue gun to stick these bundles to the bottom edge of the plate.
Add approximately 2 tablespoons of dried beans.
This is just enough to rattle nicely and not be too heavy to shake.
Add glue around the rim of the paper plate and stick the second paper plate on top.
Press firmly so they stick together.
Add extra glue around the edges so its sealed nicely.
Now its time to party and shake with us!
