Energy bites are not a new phenomena, and in fact they are very fashionable at the moment.

So lets be sheep, and follow the flock they are good for a reason!

There are so many different types and variations that can be made.

This recipe has been made completely GLUTEN and NUT FREE as shown below.

It is however not a necessity that they are and we aim to be as inclusive as possible.

If you dont want to use oats, quinoa is another good substitute.

The two core ingredients in this recipe are the apple and banana.

The rest can be experimented with.

We added fudge into ours because toffee apples are amazing and banana splits often come with fudge toppings.

Between me and you those little nuggets of fudge kind of make the snack.

Each mouthful is a surprise.

Energy Bites

If you arent keen on fudge, try chocolate chips or even crushed honeycomb chocolate.

As we all know fresh fruit once cut into will brown.

Yield: Approximately 10 bites.
