Sand all rough edges until smooth and wipe away the saw dust.
Using a pencil draw the outline of a half apple on one side of each wood block.
Paint inside the lines in a Buttermilk color.
Repeat if extra coverage is needed.
With a fine point paintbrush, paint two apple seeds in the center.
When dry, sand down the edges to give each block a weathered look.
Apply a dab of glue to the center of the woodblock and press the spool into the glue.
Cut out three felt leaves using the printable leaf template.
Fold the rounded end of the leaf in half and glue it to the top of the wood block.

And there you have it, the set of wood block apples is complete!
