Another trick I picked up with my kids is painting with bubbles.
And it sounds weird, but its another technique that gets used to create exciting depth in my pieces.
For this technique, theres some prep involved.
Grab the following tempera paint in whatever colors are needed, dish soap, and a bit of water.
Play around with the ratios to get the specific shade intensities desired for your project.
