In all honesty, I was pretty doubtful that this old brass table lamp would ever look good. I guess you could say I was blinded by the ugliness. What decade was this from anyway? Last week we shareda pre-renovation tour of the 2-bedroom bungalowalong the shores of Lake Huron, Ontario. In true beach decor fashion, we envision this bedroom to be a calming escape from the busy city-life. This small bedrooms walls are currently painted a medium purplish-blue colour with a white ceiling. We plan to brighten the walls and all the trim by painting them white.
